I was lucky that this book was out when I finished Quicksilver!! Had to run, and I mean run, to pick it up and get started! Amazing reads! And another damn cliffhanger!!! If you like fantasy, world-building, and deep-rooted love stories, this series is for you! 

I Loved this entire series! I will admit that when reading the first book, it felt a little slow and at times boring, but my friend had warned me about this and said that the second book makes it worth it and boy were they right! I will pass that advice on to anyone else. This is a 2-book commitment. Do not stop just because book 1 isn't grabbing you. It all makes clicks into place eventually and I have a better appreciation for the first book now than I did when I first read it. Such a good story, very addictive! I will easily read these over and over.

The 2nd installment of the Black Dagger Brotherhood series, follows Rhage & Mary. Mary's struggle with illness brings heartbreaking realism into a paranormal setting. Rhage's curse adds a thrilling supernatural element that intertwines perfectly with his romantic arc. I enjoyed the development of the dynamic between the brothers with their loyalty & banter. Rhage & Mary's devotion to one another sets the bar high for the rest of the series.
